The company is implementing energy management system to improve its energy efficiency and reduce power consumption, 100% of Guala Closure factories are ISO 50001 certified.
Problem & Solution
High power consumption and volatile bottle productivity.
e·boost was used to reduce consumption and improve productivity. Air compressor leaks were detected and resolved. The self-consumption algorithm detected electric motor faults and bearing damage, preventing production stoppages. It also made it possible to calculate the number of interruptions during a shift and identify the reason for them. In this way, the production process was changed by reducing interruptions and avoiding unnecessary electricity consumption.
