Celenit: example of regulation and predictive maintenance

The Client
Celenit is an Italian company that manufactures and sells thermal and acoustic insulation panels made of mineralised fir wood fiber bonded with Portland cement. Celenit offers solutions that promote sustainable building and in compliance with environmental regulations by relating in a balanced way to the environment.
Problem & Solution
Need to improve rationalisation of electricity consumption.
e·boost was implemented to improve the rationalisation of electricity consumption. The following actions were implemented:
- Corrections in the use of vacuum cleaners and elimination of the simultaneous switching on of non-simultaneous assets. Thanks to this, weekend consumption was reduced to zero.
- Predictive maintenance of the photovoltaic and compressed air circuit allowed the detection of inverter and blindo malfunctions, which were promptly reported. Compressed air leaks in the circuit were also detected.
- Thanks to improved production processes and correction of management errors in the circuit, natural gas consumption was reduced by 40%.
